About Natalie Flood
I started life as a horse mad youngster, riding racing arabs at 11 years old, then moved to a BHSI's private yard who trained me in everything she knew, including backing horses. As an adult I fell into corporate life. As I love learning, I completed two degrees and became a qualified financial adviser whilst working full time and owning horses.

A chance meeting with an Equitation Science instructor in South Africa sparked a new fascination with learning theory applied to horses. I redirected my passion for learning to horses, diving deep into a 3-year Diploma with Equitation Science International, then moving into behavioural consulting under the mentorship of a leading UK behavioural consultant. With additional courses in anatomy, Equine Tensegrity Balancing Therapy, equine brain anatomy, neuroscience, and more, I offer a unique perspective on horse training and behaviour.

In my spare time, I breed horses and have a rescue mule.

I ensure young horses are set up for success, with solid foundations and understanding of the world, and can help with basics from as young as 2 weeks old. I also help older horses where communication breaks down.

My goal is simple: to help you build the best relationship with your horse and equip young horses with the foundations and understanding essential for lifelong success

I subscribe to LIMA (least invasive, minimally aversive) techniques. I'm a proud member of the International Association for Animal Behaviour Consulting, the IAABC
